Exploring the WORLD WIDE WEB

#NTOT For several years now, I have been sharing information and activities with friends here and abroad via facebook. I was aware that there are a lot of information sources in the world wide web but it never crossed my mind nor had I imagined learning to use other sites except for facebook which despite very busy schedules, I excitedly  check for notifications, messages and updates as often as possible.

The introduction of online journalism during the National Training of Trainers on Campus Journalism held in Davao City made me realize that indeed,  teachers like me still have so much to learn from the World Wide Web as social media sites such as facebook, wordpress, twitter, and other sites can be important tools for communication, entertainment and educational development.

Teachers need to continuously get updated in the use of information technology in as much as they are dealing with 21st century learners who are now considered digital natives and techno savvy.
